Why Christian Education??
The Junior High Christian Education class is designed
to teach important lessons from the Bible in ways that
make sense and hold the attention of junior high kids.
The class rotates through a three-year curriculum called
Walk with Me. The first year focuses on Christian living
with themes like tough choices, building relationships,
talking with God, and sexuality. The second year expands
the student’s understanding of Christian doctrine on the
Trinity, new life in Jesus, and loving others. The third year
emphasizes life in the church and in the Kingdom of God.

Each class session uses a variety of activities to engage students
with multiple styles of learning. Class sessions generally include
a combination of drawing, listening to music, acting out Bible
stories, playing games, journaling, and participating in other
educational activities.
