More About StoryHour...
StoryHour is offered in conjunction with the Women's Coffee Break program. Our goal is to make God known simply and clearly, using the stories and teachings of the Bible in a way that children can understand. Our desire is for each child to come to know God, to experience Jesus' love, and to respond to that love as the Holy Spirit works in each heart. StoryHour is divided into a two-year program. These six units cover Creation, Salvation, Jesus' Love, God's Promise, God's Son, and God's Children.

Leaders encourage the children to participate in play-centered activities as they arrive. Singing, action rhymes, and movement set the stage for the Bible story telling time, followed by a craft that reinforces the message. Snack time is a fun time for children and is time where we talk about thankfulness and prayer habits by saying simple prayers before they share their snack. The last part of their morning they are given less structured play activities. StoryHour can be a beginning of their spiritual journey. Many small steps will be taken during this program with each child taking new steps at their own pace.
