A Country of Young People Hungry for Hope

The future of Italy is bleak at best, leaving the next generation full of doubt. Italian children have far less than their parents did when they were young. Valerio Neri, Director of Save the Children said, "The quality of life of our children is incomparable to that of a generation ago." Kids are looking for a reason to hope in the future but are struggling to find it in Italy.

The Gospel is Tragically Absent in Italy

While most of the country will claim Christianity, only 1.1% are Evangelicals. 70% of communities don’t have Bible-believing churches, and as many would expect, Catholicism is the most popular form of Christianity claimed, with only 3% practicing.
